Introduction

Hi I'm Tom, and I'm part of the E.B.K team. My bike history has been both good and bad. To help you, I will share my knowledge throughout this site.

A Giant Lafree was my first bike and it was fantastic. It was true value for money. Unfortunately Giant have stopped selling this bike in favour of new models (but the new models are not as good).

My second bike was a disaster. It was a cheap electric bicycle imported from China. You can read here why you should be very wary of buying cheap imports.

My next dream bike is an Optibike. It is the pinnacle of e-bikes. But being the best really does cost a few pennies. Their best model will set you back over $10,000! But don't worry. Not all cost anywhere near as much as this, but not all are as reliable.
