1. Can kids use them on the road?

Answers
Take a look at these laws and you'll see there's age restrictions in most countries.

2. Can you use them like a regular bicycle?

Answers
Yes you can use it like a normal bike. If you are going to use it like a regular bike, take out the battery before you leave to decrease the weight of the bike. If you run out of power when travelling, you can cycle like you would a normal bike, it will just be a bit heavier.

3. Are they noisy?

Answers
Ranges from different models. Older electric bikes could be quite noisy, but the newer ones are mostly near silent, if not completely silent.

4.Flo: How long does the battery last on one charge?

Answers
Varies from model to model. If you use the power sparingly, your battery will last much longer, wheras if you only use the power and don't cycle, the battery will not last as long. Some models will achieve only 10 miles, while some can achieve over 50 miles.

5. Is any training required for a licence?

Answers
No training or licence required. If you can ride a bike you will be able to ride an electric bicycle. However, for some it may take a few cycles to get used to.

6. Can electric bicycle features be adjusted?

Answers
Yes features such as the handlebars and the seat can be adjusted on most electric bicycles.

7. Claire O.: Are they dangerous?

Answers
Adam 67: They're actually more safe as most cycling accidents occur when the cyclist is tired. When you feel yourself getting tired on an electric bicycle all you have to do is up the power assist (most models give you a choice of how much power you want).

8.B1ff13: Are electric bikes difficult to use?

Answers
Generally they are very easy and simple to use. However, we do advise you take a few practice runs before hitting the road, just so you're completely comfortable with the new system.

JohnAAh:Pedelec type electric bicycles tend to take a bit more getting used to than throttle type electric bikes.

9.Tommo: Are electric bicycles more fun than regular bikes?

Answers
HarrIson:I've owned 2 electric bicycles over a number of years and I will never go back to "regular bikes". It's not because I'm lazy or unfit, but because they make cycling so much more fun. It's that simple!

10.Pete: Can I use an electric bicycle in wet conditions, and on salty roads? Which system is best based on these conditions?

Answers
You can treat it like a regular bicycle. The electrics of an electric bike such as the controller, the motor, and the battery are protected. In saying this, it's still a good idea to dry your bike off after a cycle in wet conditions.

I wouldn't say there is one single best system for these conditions as just about all newer electric bikes are capable. I would instead suggest that you select your electric bicycle based on how far you need to travel, what you are using it for, how much you are willing to spend etc.

11.Gerald Holub: I seem to be having trouble breaking spokes on tho ezip coastline, six in about 250 miles. Has any one else having this problem?
