The Continental comes in both men's and women's, like all the Schwinn range. The women's Continental is charcoal coloured, wheras the men's is Silver. Or as Schwinn call it, 'Brilliant Silver'.

The Continental offers a Shimano Nexus 7-Speed gear hub with a Shimano Revo twist shifter. Not as good as the Schwinn Tailwind, but still enough to much improve your cycling experience.

The Shimano system allows you to use gears even though the Continental uses a hub motor which often has no gears.

Gears make your cycling experience significantly better than without gears.

Schwinn have their own battery for the Continental, the Protanium lithium polymer 10 AH battery.

The tires are Kenda 700C x 35 smooth rolling tires, which help reduce friction.

The frame is aluminum, and the fork, stems, and rims are all alloy.

It also offers little extras like an alloy kick stand and a bell.

The Schwinn Continental will cost you around $2080/£1430.
