Do you need to travel fast? How does 18 mph sound? The 24V / 180 Watts continuous; 250 watts max, electric front hub motor will hit this speed easy. Along with a light frame and battery, the World GSE will not only be fast, it will feel fast aswell.

However, there is yet another reason why the World GSE is quick.

If you have ever riden down a hill on a bicycle, you may have noticed that the wheels seem to slow you down. Well, you were right. But, the World GSE has a fast rolling 700c that helps overcomes this problem, and allows you to speed down hills... with or without the power assistance.

The World GSE also features a SRAM 24-speed drivetrain that provides you with a very good gearing range, making it very, very easy to climb hills, go down hills, and travel on flat roads.

Schwinn World GSE Electric Bicycle: What It Offers

The Continental comes in both men's and women's, like all the Schwinn range. The women's Continental is white coloured, wheras the men's is green.

The bicycle offers a SRAM 24-speed SX-4 drivetrain with trigger shifters.

Schwinn have their own battery for the World GSE electric bike, the Protanium lithium polymer 10 AH battery. This is the same as in the Schwinn Continental.

Schwinn have their own hub motor, a Protanium Mini Motor with alloy shell. This offers 24v, 180 watts continuous; 250 watts max.

The frame of the World GSE bike is aluminum, and the fork, stems, and rims are all alloy.

The pedals however, are nylon dual-compound comfort pedals.

The World GSE bicycle also offers little extras like an alloy kick stand and a bell.

The Schwinn World GSE electric bike will likely cost you around $1880/£1290, but, prices may creep up on this model.
